Then he says, ‘Can you see the island?’ He knows I know you can not, but I know ‘no’ was not the answer. I didn’t know what it was. So we wait. There is kind of an uncomfortable moment. And, in kind of an angry voice he goes, ‘Can you see the island?’ And I told him, ‘Mau, I can see the island, in my mind.’ Then he said, ‘Ok good. Get in the car and take me home.’ We get in the car and he goes, ‘If you can’t see the island in your mind you’re going to be lost.’
